- Camp High Rocks sits at an elevation of 3000 feet in the midst of 1100 acres of camp-owned mountain woodland, with an 11 acre lake, and miles of hiking and biking trails. Founded in 1958, High Rocks remains dedicated to providing a caring, challenging, and noncompetitive outdoor experience for boys.
- Each counselor shares in various responsibilities: being aware of camper safety, organizing activities in camp and on trips out of camp, teaching specific skills, and supporting the campers' growth. Male counselors live in a cabin with 5 or 6 boys, ages 8-16.

- Work as a leader and role model for gifted and motivated 2nd through 9th grade children. Provide a caring cabin atmosphere for 7 campers.
- Teach a wide range of camp activities including fly-fishing, canoeing, fencing, rock climbing, painting, outdoor cooking, pottery, etc. Assist professional naturalists in morning hikes to waterfalls, mountain overlooks, through streams, and other adventures.

- Work with groups of 7-8 students with 2 instructors to facilitate a safe and successful experience during the adventure activity portions of 10 to 26 day courses.
- Minimum 20 years of age (21 and older preferred);. Minimum of 2 years college experience, preferable in Recreation Therapy, Outdoor Recreation, Education, or Psychology. First Aid and CPR required (minimum WFA required for NC and WY staff), Lifeguard certification required for FL and CA staff.
